Kia ora, Hello. I am Megan Salole - Hope Based Communicator and strategist, living in Aotearoa New Zealand

The Hope Dispatch grew out of necessity.

I have always leaned optimistic. It was my operating system. But as the world grew more complex, I realised optimism wasn’t the right setting. I needed a hope that could hold grief, injustice, climate anxiety, political fracture and still remain standing. So I turned hope into a study. I read widely. I interviewed people. I tested ideas in my work as a communicator and strategist.

I examined my own patterns of false hope and toxic positivity. I began to understand hope not as wishful thinking, but as orientation, practice and responsibility. This newsletter is a living lab. A place where I share the questions, frameworks and stories that I am rumbling with to help me build a steadier kind of hope, and perhaps help you build yours too.

Because this is a lab, it is a free newsletter. You are always welcome to explore my experiments and tinkering. But If this nourishes you, you can support it. I put all revenue towards growing the Hope Dispatch so that it can reach more people.
